We recommend the « Cap Student Australia » insurance if you are planning to study in Australia, either an English course or some vocational or university training, for a short or long duration, whatever your visa is: tourist or student visa.
This insurance can be complimentary to the compulsory OSHC (Overseas Students Health Cover) that does not entirely cover all medical costs. It includes health and travel cover.
It is a simple and complete policy that can help you avoid health costs related issues ! We remind you that health care in Australia is very expensive. It costs 4,000 € a day in intensive care. An appendicitis can cost you around 10,000 € !
Who will pay for your rapatriation to your home country in case of a serious accident?
• Medical and hospital costs are fully covered and no excess fees are required ; cover up to 155,000 € !
• In case you have to abandon your studies due to an illness or accident, Cap Student Australia will refund the tuition costs that you have not used yet.
• It will also cover you for Public Liabilities during your studies in Australia (up to 155,000 €).
• Your luggage will be covered for theft and loss by your carrier, during the trip to and back from Australia, for up to 2,300 €.
• A 24h/7 rapatriation assistance (with Isis Assistance), in real costs.
• You will be offered a 24/7 medical assistance involving the expert assitance services with « ISIS Assistance » and its call centre in Sydney while in Australia or in over 50 countries all around the world.
• You will be directly refunded all medical costs into your personal account in Australia or in your home country as soon as you have sent all receipts and evidence of care.
• You can subscribe for the "extreme sports" option (it encompasses surf, scuba-diving and winter sports).
• You can renew your contract while in Australia (for a minium period of 1 month).
